This web site is dedicated solely to the promotion of the Community of La Feria, Texas. Located in the mid Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas, we enjoy a culture resulting from a blend of the best of Mexican traditions, Texas pride, and aspiration for the American dream.
The Web site is being completed in the following order.
1. Directory of businesses and organizations in La Feria, Texas. Includes name, address, phone number, and category.
2. Information about the City Of La Feria government.
This will include a brief description of the City Charter and ordinances.
The Mayor and Commissioners, and the City departments will be listed.
I hope to have an autobiography of these persons who contribute so much
to our community, and why they dedicate large amounts of effort making
our City the best it can be.
3. Plans for growth of the City Of La Feria.
This will probably be in a section for La Feria Industrial Development
Corporation (LFIDC) and La Feria Economic Development Corporation
(LFEDC).
The general theme will show why businesses and people should want to
reside in La Feria, Texas.
Where we designate areas for commercial development, and the types of
businesses we are seeking. We have railroad access, and freeway
access, and are close to the economic action with Mexico. Water
and waste water access designations.
Where we designate areas for residents, including apartments, trailer
and travel trailer parks, and single resident occupation.
4. Expand the directory listing (point 1) by providing a one page web site for each of the businesses, organizations, and Churches.
5. Provide search engine data, so the listing will be displayed appropriately when someone searches on the web. The search engines are starting to charge for this, so I will then need to charge for this to cover the costs of a state tax license and expenses.
